Welcome to the ranch!

I am so excited to have you along on this journey!

A country lifestyle has always appealed to me. I grew up in a small town in Northern California and spent many days and nights outside - on the lake, at the beach, in the mountains, or on farms working with animals. When I graduated high school, I couldn’t wait to move to the city, where I thought all of the energy was. So I moved to Sacramento and experienced so much that is exciting about city life. I graduated from college, started working in education as a teacher, and began practicing my design skills on the side.

The next 15 years were spent teaching in a classroom, traveling the country writing curriculum for schools, raising my two oldest kids, and remodeling + decorating my homes. I earned my Master’s degree in Education and realized that coaching other teachers was a passion of mine. I got my real estate license and began selling homes, then I graduated from the New York Institute of Art + Design and became a RIDQC certified interior designer, too. To say I like being busy is probably an understatement…

Five children, five houses, and 24 years after I moved to Sacramento, my husband and I are living our dream at Lowline Ranch, the ranch we created, in a farmhouse that we built. I am so thankful I have found a way to do all the things I love: real estate, design, styling, events, educating others, cooking, being a wife, raising kids, and, of course, ranchin’.
