One of the scariest aspects of design for the clients I have worked with is PAINT. And I get it! There are literally thousands of options in every color of the rainbow. You want white? Well, there are many, many choices. Go too warm and your wall will end up looking yellow, or go too cool and it will take on a gray/blue hue. Add the temperature of the lighting in the space and it may change the whole look even more. That’s where we designers come in! Not only are we able to look at the Light Reflective Value (LRV), see the distinct undertones of colors, and pair colors with others that are complementary, but we also have a solid list of tried-and-true colors that we know will look great for each design style.
